I guess by now everyone has heard the news about the new "Ultra" class ham license!!!
Details are still sketchy, but the thing that surprises me the most is that those Fools over at the FCC actually plan to take away spectrum from existing hams to carve out frequencies for this new, higher class of license!
Fortunately they're giving us plenty of time to develop the new course, as the new regulations do not go into effect until April 1, 2014.
We will definitely be offering an Ultra course, but we don't yet have any idea what it will cost. It's going to depend on the new curriculum, which is not yet fully defined.
